The New York Times to syndicate content from major technology blogs

image thumb254 The New York Times to syndicate content from major technology blogsThe New York Times on the move to update its technology section, has put forward its plans to syndicate content from various technology blogs namely VentureBeat, GigaOM and the ReadWriteWeb.  This partnership with existing blogs is a great boost for each one of them and NYT with its monthly uniques hitting almost 20 million and a staggering figure of over 630 million page views a month will offer each of them a much wider userbase and more readers flocking over to their sites for more content.

The deal has been done but the first content will be available sometime early October.

The deal would have NYT picking up the latest and best content from each of these blogs and in return each the links within these articles would bring users to the blog sites. The deal though highly beneficial for the three blogs alone, but it has a lot to encourage other blogs as well and we at Startup Meme would congratulate all three for this achievement.
