Michael Zimbalist, the vice president of The New York Times’ Research and Development, has demonstrated a news reader based on AIR 1.5 at Adobe Max conference. The company used the content of International Herald Tribune for the demonstration, but the reader for The New York Time will also be released. Though a desktop reader already exists for Times, but it is heavy. Flash 10 capabilities, which are also used by AIR 1.5, have been used in the latest app.
