In its bid to expand further into the social media scene, The Knot has acquired WedSnap, making it its second acquisition in less than two weeks. WedSnap is the developer of Facebook’s popular wedding application, Weddingbook, which pretty much reveals Knot’s willingness to buy its developer. David Liu, CEO of Knot spoke on the acquisition stating:

With this acquisition, The Knot community broadens by branching into the fastest-growing social network of brides on Facebook, while Weddingbook members will have access to our extensive repertoire of tools, content, and vendor directories.
