Android developers have something fresh coming for them as Google puts up a clip of its fresh Android Market. The new Market would let developers put up screenshots and icons along with the descriptions of the apps they put up on the store. From the video, the entire interface looks pretty smooth and efficient. At least the Paid button looks more prominent sitting on top of the screen compared to the very vague one it had in the previous version. I hope the better interface helps improve the over all look and more importantly the business for developers which stands to nothing compared to what developers for the iPhone are minting.

This release doesn’t solve the real problems of the Android Market like checkout-only payments (where is paypal or direct cc-card?) and a better copy protection of paid apps. Without those critical improvements the success of the Android ecosphere is questionable.
