Current reports have highlighted the massive growth in Text messaging with growth exceeding 142% during the 2007-2008 period. The trend comes from the obvious growth in the number of people switching over to the mobile phones and especially the advent of smartphones that bring everything at fingertips and text messages are one of them. The current trend has more than 58.3 billion text messages flooding in per day, seeing more than 10% rise. This is just the beginning and the number would more than double by the end of next year.
