The TC 50 finalist, POSTBOX, is an online service that lets you handle your online communication. The startup claims that it lets users “spend less time managing messages and more time getting things done”. The thing which makes them different from others is that it allows users to search and reuse the old content deep down their emails.

The service lets you organize emails by topics in order to make user concentrate on one thing at a time. If the incoming messages are related to the topic, they will automatically be displayed, whereas the rest of the stuff goes to background. The service provides you a counter which displays incoming messages by topic. This way users will be able to keep an eye on other stuff as well.

The startup works in the background and indexes everything in the users email i.e. text, snaps, address, links, contacts, document, attachments, etc. You can also search the index easily. To make your life easy, the search results are conveyed in context.

You can add annotations to the mail content or you can simply add information from internet and make a new one. If you want your stuff to be published online or share to other communities, you can do it also. Furthermore if you want to get some stuff from internet, you can do so with the help of a sidebar which pulls content directly from the search engines, reference sites or from other online communities.

The beta version of the site is expected soon. Lets keep our fingers crossed and see how really the application would be in the beta version.
