Tapulous to rock Apple’s App Store

Tapulous

Tapulous is a new startup with a good stockpile of applications for Apple’s App Store. They have acquired some neat applications and a good team of developers who were already working on iPhone Apps before the SDK had launched. The Apps are going to be introduced through the App Store that is about to be launched, but they aim to create a social web between their Apps just like Rock you did with Facebook Apps.

Tapulous currently have 3 Apps ready to launch on with the launch of Apple App Store, with more coming soon. They include Twinkle ( based on Twitter ), Tap Tap Revenge ( sounds like Dance Dance Revolution doesn’t it? ) and a Friend Book which is a super address book, and incorporates “Handshake? which lets you hold two iPhones together and shake them to exchange contact information.

Tapulous are backed by a good group of angel investors and the team of developers that they have is nothing short of extra ordinary. Except to see them very active in the App Store, although it’s unknown whether they will put up their Apps for free or for a price. Anyhow, expect to take advantage of the iPhone’s features through Tapulous’ versatile Apps.

We can’t wait for Friend Book and try out the Handshake feature, no matter how that would look to other people.
