Leading global enterprise communications lifecycle management software and technology-enabled services provider, Tangoe Inc., has made an announcement according to which the company has acquired InterNoded Inc. The later is a Waltham, Massachusetts based mobile device management solutions provider.

According to the president and CEO of Tangoe, Al Subbloie:

The addition of MDM capabilities enhances and extends Tangoe’s already strong value proposition for fixed and mobile communications asset management. Tangoe’s CommCare™ solutions manage many of the challenges inherent in today’s mobile environment, from device procurement to optimizing billing charges, to managing complex carrier relationships. But we saw an opportunity in providing tools to manage the actual device and its applications.
