image thumb21 The Good, The Bad And The WWDC

With almost everything being talked about at length across the globe about the WWDC and what Apple has come out with, the conference had its flip sides to go with the highs. We have mentioned the highs with the in depth review of the release of iPhone 4 HD and the rumors of the Magic Pad but there were other things worth mentioning as well.

The most important is the WiFi fail at the WWDC. Steve jobs was demonstrating the browsing capabilities of the iPhone 4 HD and the iPhone 3GS when the wireless connection failed. We are all aware how carefully things are planned for Apple events and the level of intolerance Steve Jobs has towards errors but it happened, right in from of the audience, with the iPhone in Jobs’ hands. I just wonder what’s coming the way of the person responsible for this, God help him.

image thumb20 The WWDC 2010: Apple [Re] Unveils The iPhone 4 [HD], The Keynote Was Quite Un Applish

The WWDC 2010, as always has seen a remarkable attendance. Many of us were obviously aware what is coming out this time from Apple especially since the iPhone 4G became old news after a leak by Gizmodo. But as is the case with Apple, it isn’t just about a device or two, the yearly event brings forth major announcement and the upcoming items from Apple.

There were speculations of the iPhone Verizon marriage earlier but that simply remained a rumor and Apple will continue to bundle the iPhone with AT&T. The pricing, well the iPhone 4 HD 16GB would cost you $199 and the iPhone HD 32GB would be available for $299. There is no price drop, which isn’t unusual given that the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS were sold like hot cakes across the globe and people continue to buy Apple products for whatever price they are available. Gladly enough Steve Jobs and his team was kind enough to not be greedy and increase the price.

image thumb19 The Multi Touch Magic Pad Leaked Before The WWDC. Looks Like Apple Has Something Other Than The iPhone

If there can be leaks and stealing of the iPhone HD long before the WWDC, the leaked images of Apple’s Multi-touch trackpad or the Magic pad as it’s called is no surprise. Engadget just released the pictures of the trackpad and they are convincing enough. The pad is tipped to give Apple’s laptops and Desktop machines the multi touch capability just like you have on the iPad.

The device, from the picture appears to be a peripheral and has a power button. I expect that it would connect via the Bluetooth, whatever it may be and no matter how it connects, it just shows one thing that Apple is pretty much inclined to make its MacBook and the desktop computes have multi-touch capabilities. Don’t see any harm in these, but honestly what’s the point of attaching an extra peripheral that simply removes the mouse and the keyboard is still there? Well at least there is something other than the iPhone coming our way WWDC 2010.

image thumb18 The WWDC 2010: What Has Apple Got Other Than The iPhone 4.. Errr iPhone HD?

The big day for everything Apple and its followers. We haven’t really talked much about the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference or to put it shortly, the WWDC. The interesting thing here is despite the leaking of the iPhone 4G well over a month back and to put a change the iPhone has named the device the iPhone HD, which in my opinion is quite a positive break from the 2G, 3G and 3GS naming, something I found quite repetitive and pointless for the fourth version of the hardware.

Twitter is filled with updates on the event set to start in a few hours and we are expecting a surprise. I am dead sure there Steve Jobs is having a few tricks up his sleeves. A few improvements to the iPhone HD include:

image thumb13 The WWDC: What Are You Expecting From Apple?

Monday, right? June 7 is when we see Steve Jobs taking charge of the WWDC and there must be a lot of speculation as to what Apple is announcing. While many have already heard a lot of Apple right before the WWDC and that there is less secrecy as to what is coming out, Apple’s CEO is never short of surprises. We might have seen the countless images of the new iPhone 4G, and it has already become old news in my humble opinion, I am just interested in learning what would make this year’s WWDC ticklish compared to the ones in the past?

There are a lot more than just the iPhone or another hardware story this time. Maybe Apple might be more focused on defying gravity and thinking about the Cloud based version of its long existing traditional iTunes. I mean Apple really hasn’t done much about it in fact as Mashable reported earlier, it even terminated Lala service added to the fact that Google is in full throttle with its Chrome OS, chances are something cloudy might happen at the upcoming WWDC.

image thumb91 Apple iPad Out, iPhone 4G Leaked.. So What’s Not Going To Keep Apple Disappointing People At WWDC 2010?

The iPad is already out and has sold over 2 Million pieces in less than two months of its release. We already got a hint of the new iPhone 4G that was lost by an Apple developer, brought by Gizmodo for $5,000 and even led to a raid at its editor’s house. That leak brought to light quite a lot, at least we saw that the device was more brick like in shape and less of the previous curvy designs. So what exactly is Apple coming out with for its die hard fans at the WWDC set to happen on June 7?

I am lost and I bet many more are as well but its Apple; expect anything, more importantly something really important and interesting. At least its CEO, Steve Jobs has stated that it won’t be disappointing and I trust the man’s words more than the gadgets his company designs and gives back to its consumers.

image thumb36 The new iPhone will be called iPhone 3GS, possibly the last iPhone report/rumor before the WWDC

There is a lot anticipated from Apple‘s prime event, the WWDC and there has been quite some rumors, especially those with the new iPhone. We have been hearing quite a lot of news as to what it might have to offer and yesterday we came to know about its possible name. It appears that the device might be called the iPhone 3GS, the letter S does extend the name but it just doesn’t sound Apple enough. That might just be a code name or something but the new iPhone is definitely going to have the much needed features, which include video recording and an extended battery life. Plus there is a possibility of Apple bringing down the price for the iPhone. Now this price cut may come on the previous model and might be available in the range of $99 to $149 and might come with Verizon deal, not forget having faster processing speed and a larger storage. We will be keeping an eye on the WWDC that is just a few hours away.
