There have quite a lot of names associated to technology that have made their way into the dictionary, especially those from the Web. Blog, Facebook, etc have all been included in the words and today the dictionary got its one millionth word, which is Web 2.0. The word was picked up by Global Language Monitor and it has definitely earned quite a lot of coverage. However I wasn’t much pleased with how they defined the word and it appears more like a confused person trying to explain something to people who know a bit more about it. it isn’t simple, it isn’t elaborate enough to define exactly what Web 2.0 is. I guess they could have done better with the Web of 21′st century. There definition of the word is:
