As long as the world exists, we will continue to see URL shorteners born one after another. I bet there have been a countless link crunchers that I have not covered in the past and many don’t know how many do exist? Anyways Urloid is another to join the ranks. Though the short URL appears a bit longer, given the name but it lets users assign custom keywords or letters. For example I can use the word Startup Meme and assign each link I shorten a number is assigned making it much more readable instead of the jungle of alphabets and numbers that you can’t memorize. i don’t find it that bad, though the background could have been something better than fishes swimming around.
