Floods have been devastating recently. Especially the ones last year in Pakistan that flooded an area that was larger than many European countries combined. Many lives were lost that could have been saved, had there been a flood forecast. Early warning systems can prove to be absolutely essential, especially in densely populated regions where whatever time that can be bought saves as many lives.

There is a different kind of mention about key players of the Apple Jailbreak community and this time it isn’t them discovering a new exploit to help you jailbreak your iPhone, iPod or the iPad. Today two of its best known names were awarded titles for a slightly different purpose or achievement, at least one of them.
I guess everyone out there is waiting for the jailbreak experts to come out with a neat method to jailbreak the iPad 2. If I recall it correctly there had been a leak earlier, probably to make haste with the official release of the userland jailbreak for the Apple iPad. From his tweet:
@comex: By the way, iOS 4.3.2 is (as far as I can see) still vulnerable to @i0n1c’s untether vulnerability.
It will be interesting to see if Apple is able to cover up these vulnerabilities in the operating system to make these exploits and thus the jailbreaks impossible. But given how essential these are in making the device more usable [in my humble opinion], Apple should not resort to doing anything that angers its users. Read More »
Stefan Essar is set to release his untethered jailbreak tool for the iOS 4.3 anytime next week. The tool was demonstrated in a YouTube video he shared earlier today. It showed the first generation iPad running the untethered jailbreak version based on an exploit that is yet to be disclosed. The procedure for installing this is similar to that of the previous versions of the iOS, meaning you will be needing bootrom exploit for installing the same in the root partition.
