Pod2g announced a short while back about what has been happening recently amongst the developers. Apparently Pod2g has been working together with Onaj and p0sixninja on an untethered jailbreak for the iOS 4.2.1. The problem is the video shared doesn’t really demonstrate if this is untethered jailbreak is based on the bootrom exploit or is userland based.

Is there anything that is impossible or undoable for the developers/hackers? I bet not! Give them anything new and the first thing they would want to do is modify or alter it to be in total command. Nexus S is no exception and some of those smart folks have already Rooted the Nexus S on Gingerbread.
In case you aren’t aware, Rooting your Android based device lets you play around and overclock your CPU, flash desired ROMS, get rid of the lousy Carrier loaded apps, etc. I did that on my HTC Desire and it looks better now and even more smarter folks have done this with the latest, Nexus S.
A few moments back we shared with our readers the news of the unlock available for the iPhone 3GS and 3G and as always there is a guide on how to unlock the same. You will of course need to have a few things downloaded and ready to install.

In my last post, I advised startups that they don’t necessarily need to hire an attorney (and pay those retainer fees and hourly rates) when it comes time to forming a Corporation or an LLC. After all, during the startup phase, you’ve got to spend money wisely — and you might be better served investing that money back into your business, rather than paying for an attorney.

I have nothing against lawyers. I’m married to one, in fact. And I myself graduated law school and obtained my JD (Juris Doctorate Degree) back in 1998. But with that said, there are times when attorneys are overused — and those unnecessary retainer fees and hourly rates can hurt the startup process when cash is tight.
Since many of you folks are searching for ways to actually delete your account on Facebook or at least take a break from it, I just thought making lives easier. Therefore we have a tutorial to help users with quitting Facebook. Trust me, if you haven’t yet been able to grasp the privacy settings, etc it is time you wave it good bye. I am not forcing you, but it is obvious that you aren’t enjoying your time on the network and since privacy is of utmost importance, you should quit it.
I am not asking that. Simply putting up a statement which to a very large extent is true with many users of the social networking platform. If you come across your name being listed publicly or your information appearing on third party sites, run a check up on your profile settings, I bet you are doing something wrong to begin with.
I wrote quite a detailed post on How to protect yourself from the Evil of Instant Personalization and it was clear that a little bit of attention paid by you can resolve the issue from your side. And just as I did make a post I cane across another issue being raised: that about Events. The issues voiced:
It appears that the Goliath of the Social Media is getting caught in some undesirable issues. It has already been setting itself to quite an uprising with the upcoming changes to its privacy settings before long reports hurled in stating that the social network had exposed their email IDs to the public. Isn’t it what the social network actually intends to do? When it enables user data to be shared by third party sites?
Alright I understand I am being skeptical about Facebook and its plans but this is exactly what has happened. But working on this plan is for sure a reason for this glitch. The issue lasted for more than half an hour and that is enough to make the most loyal of its users doubt the platform’s credibility. This is something that Facebook has given the top priority to, but at present it seems that has been put to some great test. The problem, though it lasted for 30 minutes is long enough to have caused quite some havoc and gladly the team was able to rid itself of it before it lasted long enough to drive all its users furious.
You wouldn’t really like being on a Facebook homepage for using Facebook Chat and many would wish having some sort of a messenger to do the same. How about mixing the Two F’s: Facebook with Firefox! Have your Facebook Chat appear within your browser, irrespective of the fact that you have your profile open in a tab or not.
The procedure is pretty simple and I bet many are aware off this already but for those who aren’t they can add a bookmark to their Firefox browser and enable chat on the browser’s sidebar. It appears much like you have your search and history within the browser, all that you need to do is follow the steps.
