The Twitter Twitter for Stock investors, StockTwits has been successful in bagging another bag of cash as it raised $3 Million in Series B. The round was led by Foundry Group while added its partner, Seth Levine to StockTwits’ Board. The startup, which was launched last year enables users of the micromessaging service, Twitter to manage and share stock news, etc as easily as they share tweets on Twitter. It has progressed ever since with its own app for the purpose which can be easily integrated with Twitter accounts. I bet the service has the right ingredients to grow with time, primarily amongst those associated to the Stock market.

It has partnered with SkyGrid, the financial news aggregator to bring Stock tweets from Twitter via live feed. With this partnership, SkyGrid will embed its widget at StockTwits, displaying updates on stocks of the company you are searching for, meaning that users can now keep a check on both the news and all conversations taking place in association to it in real time.

StockTwits that lets you keep an eye on people’s stock related tweets at Twitter has raised fourth round of funding. The new round brought StockTwits $800,000, which isn’t too much and equals exactly what it mustered in its angel fund. StockTwits works in a simple way by crawling across Twitter messages and looking for stock symbols and indexes each at its own site making it easier to learn what others have to say about the market. Apart from this, reports also state that StockTwits will also begin offering a premium service along with its free one in due time.
