HiveLive has been acquired by RightNow for a cash value of $6 Million. HiveLive provides social networking tools for firms enabling them to create online communities for their clients. I am bit surprised for the cash value it has been sold for, given that fact that the site has raised $7.8 Million in funding and has been in business for over a year and a half. RightNow on the other hand has had quite a deal for its customer relation management software and will leverage HiveLive working model to its advantage.
