The last time I visited Yahoo was perhaps 2 years back, even more when the entire Jerry, Microsoft Saga was on fire. A lot has changed since, from being very quite to bursting out yesterday with the announcement of the firing of Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz. That reportedly happened over the phone and it had a ripple effect all across the Web. Sadly there is more to it that the eyes can read.
For those of you in Germany, there is some very big news. iPhone lovers are all set to preorder the next generation of the iPhone. You read it right that you can actually preorder the iPhone 5 in Germany. This comes as a great surprise as we aren’t yet aware of what the device looks like, let alone detailed specifications of the iPhone 5.

We have reviewed a countless startups, how tos, tips, guides and latest news on as many categories as we could have. But for those of you who have been following us from day one know that our specialty lay in reviewing startups. Be they applications for your iPhone, Android, Windows Phone/Mobile to Web applications and to be honest we have enjoyed it to the max.
Looks like the Osama Bin Laden saga still has a lot of life remaining and I guess no one, in governments globally, intelligence agencies, journalists, social media freaks and gaming hot shots are going to let it die. We had been hearing rumors of a possible Hollywood movie or a game on Osama Bin Laden raid. Turns out we have already got our hands on one really good experience.
It seems like I have never written a blog post before, especially after Startup Meme being out for almost two weeks. We sincerely apologize our followers on Twitter, Fans on Facebook and our email and RSS subscribers for such a prolonged down time. The issue? Well we were migrating our host provider, which means Startup Meme in no more on Media Temple and are now hosted on DreamHost.
We aren’t going to discuss on what prompted us to make the shift but our experience with MT wasn’t really impressive but that’s past. We will be starting off with our regular posting procedure in the next 24 hours so expect Startup Meme to be making noise with news and tips.
I had absolutely nothing more important to be jubilant about when I heard the rumors of the iPhone 5 coming on Verizon Wireless. But this latest development is equally important and surprising. Apple has just announced that it will have iPad made available on the Verizon Wireless stores as well those of AT&T in the US from October 28.
The press release stated that the iPad will be available across the 2,000 Verizon Wireless Stores across the US and will have three offerings. All of these will include the iPad Wi-Fi model as well as the Verizon MiFi 2200 Mobile Hotspot. The details along with pricing are:
