Drug dealers would do anything in their power to keep addicts hooked to their addiction. Facebook in my opinion is exactly that dealer and social networking is the drug its getting you hooked to with all its features and applications. While all that needed you to be online and logon to your profile there are some people who have brought you mousepads that would keep reminding you about Facebook or Twitter.
