With the URL shortening category keeps swarming with a new one every now and then, a few of those new comers try to be a bit different and Krumlr is one of them. The startup makes a stew of the countless services and mixes it up with its URL shortener. This means you can share, bookmark as well as shorten the URL of a particular page you like. Not just that it offers Twitter like features too and lets you follow friends, update your status, etc. Each time you Krum a site, a new window opens in which the title and the short URL are auto populated. You can add tags, etc to categorize your Krum in a better way. What ever page you krum is saved to your profile and shared with other users, plus you can post the same on Twitter. Using it isn’t difficult in any way, simply drag and drop the bookmarks to your browser. I used the service and it isn’t bad at all, in fact much more useful than the traditional URL shorteners you are currently using.
