image thumb39 And heres how you kill Competition: Apple to sell $99 iPhone

Cheap will always sell that too in bulks. And when that cheap price in on an iPhone, you can bet the sales of the device to outgrow all its competitors. Apple has done exactly that in its WWDC keynote apart from introducing the much waited iPhone 3G-S. The latest iPhone is all superior to the last one, with larger storage, faster speed and a better camera to name a few things that make it new but those of us who just find $199 a bit too heavy on the pocket can now boast an iPhone for $99. This iPhone is exactly the old one and to be honest the old one is by no means a bad option given that it has over 50,000 apps which have been downloaded a billion times. If you were waiting for this announcement coming from Apple, you can go grab one as $99 iPhone is out on sales from today onwards. Palm Pre, you have a tough time, a very tough time indeed already.

image thumb36 The new iPhone will be called iPhone 3GS, possibly the last iPhone report/rumor before the WWDC

There is a lot anticipated from Apple‘s prime event, the WWDC and there has been quite some rumors, especially those with the new iPhone. We have been hearing quite a lot of news as to what it might have to offer and yesterday we came to know about its possible name. It appears that the device might be called the iPhone 3GS, the letter S does extend the name but it just doesn’t sound Apple enough. That might just be a code name or something but the new iPhone is definitely going to have the much needed features, which include video recording and an extended battery life. Plus there is a possibility of Apple bringing down the price for the iPhone. Now this price cut may come on the previous model and might be available in the range of $99 to $149 and might come with Verizon deal, not forget having faster processing speed and a larger storage. We will be keeping an eye on the WWDC that is just a few hours away.

image thumb95 Palm Pre will be able to Sync with iTunes. Is Palm trying hard to push its sales?

After planning everything out to mar (supposedly) Apple’s WWDC and the possibility of a new iPhone, the Palm Pre, the manufacturers are boasting the phones ability to sync with content on iTunes. The device will be able to access users content on iTunes and iPhotos. But there is a barrier to syncing when it comes to restricted content. The Pre is tipped in to keep Palm afloat in the market which is dominated by the iPhone and it will take more than just syncing features/ability to make a difference for the manufacturers.

image thumb63 Yahoo is a bit to serious about iPhone adds Voice Search to the iPhone App.. Google has a competition

Yahoo appears to be a bit too obsessed with the iPhone all of a sudden. yesterday we reported that Yahoo stated that it will focus only on its app for the iPhone and today it has added voice search. While obsession can be the right word, it also shows that Yahoo has taken the step to reciprocate that of Google when it integrated the same to its iPhone app earlier. While it’s good to have more features coming from the company’s side, I guess voice search still has to go a long a way before it actually begins to be effective (accurate), which doesn’t appear so, at least from the tests put up here.
