We are all waiting hands down for Google to announce the launch of its Online Music service at the Google I/O. The online music service has been in jeopardy, much like that of the Amazon that has also failed to secure licenses from major music labels and music companies. What Google plans to release is called a Passive locker, which means that such services don’t require licenses from record companies with the only drawback being that they have limited features.

It is has been estimated at $153.3 Billion, ahead of biggies like Coca Cola, HSBC, BMW and Google itself.

Remember the Google Chrome Canary build we mentioned back in August 2010? The crash and burn Chrome released for developers and testers who don’t mind their browser crashing in testing out new features and updates. The build is finally coming out to the Mac OS X.
Eric Schmidt of Google has decided to take a bow from his position as Google’s CEO. It took him 10 years to head what started off as a plain, simple and not so glamorous looking search engine that expanded into the most vital tools of our every day lives today. YouTube, Chrome, Gmail, Gtalk, Google Docs and what not? Of course that’s the hard work and untiring efforts of the entire team but he Eric Schmidt had been heading this since 2001.
I am seriously disappointed with myself for missing out the CES 2011, laziness, sleep and by the time I woke up all important news was out. But I bet no one is interested in my personal story. The big news, Google has officially put up the Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb video online after it accidently posted the Honeycomb sneak peak video on YouTube. The video was immediately pulled off, but even immediate proved too much for the folks to record it spread the word out. That being said, there wasn’t really a point in Google keeping it a secret.
Google continues to make official entry into the Apple inventory as it today announced support for iPod Touch and the iPad for its Google Voice App. The approval for the iPhone took well over a year before iPhone users were blessed by the app. And quite luckily Google was quick to add support for the iPod Touch and the iPad.
