There has been a lot of hype of late associated to Apple Products, especially about the coming of the Verizon iPhone 4 in February as well as the possible announcement of the iPad 2 by April. The Apple line of music devices has been great, I personally own an iPod and trust me there is nothing comparable to the quality of picture and sound on it. Though I am not a totally music person, that was one device in the recent times I bought specifically for music. But challengers are coming in, primarily for Apple, we have the Android challenging its iOS devices with high end smartphones, the iPad competitors in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the BlackBerry PlayBook. While that was not all, Samsung has come out with the iPod Touch challenger, the Samsung Galaxy Player.

It is really difficult to get along with using those shortcut, it is primarily to do with learning those keys and memorizing them. Well that is to change for Gmail as Gboard brings all those shortcuts on a keyboard. The device looks neat, very useful and its priced at $19.99, something a power Gmail user would love to have to avoid the mouse or bad memory slowing him down.
The device like many other peripherals plugs into the USB port and is supported on both the Windows and Mac. The shortcuts can be enabled by moving over to the settings page on your Gmail and enabling keyboard shortcuts. With shortcuts to 19 major functions on your Gmail, the device helps you do a lot more and a whole lot quicker making you look like some Gmail Guru who is rarely seen touching the mouse [that would make me feel elated].

I wonder why I almost forgot about it? The Balls that we all might have in the coming week to play with! Oh yes, Blobo Balls. Wait up, I am not a pervert, I am talking about this new device that I chanced upon to view during the MindTrek conference, thanks to FinnFacts. Blobo works with any device that is bluetooth enabled and detects motion, tapping and reactions and translates them on the screen as movements and gestures. I got to play with the device at Demola too and it is one great piece of innovation. Plus the device is going to be quite cheap perhaps around the 15 to 20 Euro range along with half dozen games inclusive in the package.
