Eric Schmidt of Google has decided to take a bow from his position as Google’s CEO. It took him 10 years to head what started off as a plain, simple and not so glamorous looking search engine that expanded into the most vital tools of our every day lives today. YouTube, Chrome, Gmail, Gtalk, Google Docs and what not? Of course that’s the hard work and untiring efforts of the entire team but he Eric Schmidt had been heading this since 2001.

So who is going to go for an alphanumeric user name even if it was unique? What is your take if I were to have a username like smohkim0x10? I know I would never want to look at myself in the mirror if I ever did so, wonder how Eric Schmidt, Google’s CEO would? Well he is more than just happy and the report breaking out of this had me lost. Why?
Didn’t it come into his mind that it isn’t MIRC and that you can actually have a proper username without using numbers? Or wait, was he trying to be covert? Not sure, perhaps I am just being very negative about this but eschmidt0 is speaking loud of love for the binaries. Why so? Well the username ericschmidt is available. Anyways the man begun the usual way with promoting himself [who wouldn’t?].
I am not sure how the gurus in the tech world are going to take this, but I was surprised hearing that Eric Schmidt CEO of Google is no more amongst Apple’s Board of Directors. Of course we can add all sorts of speculations behind this resignation but the obvious reason is Google forcing itself in direct competition with Apple’s business. How? Well the search giant has stepped on its Mobile ventures with Android and furthering the damage with plans of Chrome OS. Now isn’t that lessening Eric’s significance in the board? Or is Steve Jobs thinking that Eric is hijacking Apple’s ideas to Google? He joined in Apple’s board in August 2006, back then of course Google was all about Web. But the sudden burst in innovation and expansion in platform has alarmed every one around. I guess Eric has a lot more to handle as Google CEO and he can use the time he saves from here to bring in better things for Google. Does he want to gulp down more of what Apple has for the future?
