Invisible sounds great when you talk about the Fantastic Four and the likes. But when it comes to a product, brand or simply your Blog, invisibility is one super power you wouldn’t enjoy having. There has been a massive migration to gain maximum visibility online, leverage that offline and have more eyes learning about your product or service. I mean look at us, we would do anything to create noise on any platform to ensure our words are visible to more, even if it involves commenting on blogs that belong to our competitors. Without visibility, your site may as well be worthless as it won’t be gaining the attention needed to be profitable.

I just read moments back an article by MG Siegler on the possibility of TechCrunch about to change. It was bound to happen and any sensible person could have sensed the shit coming TechCrunch’s way when they announced their acquisition by AOL. You sell yourself or even have money poured in by an investor [like AOL] you should be ready to embrace drastic changes, for these firms just can’t tolerate the existing dynamics to function. Just to clarify, by stating “These firms” I strictly point to those who love monopolizing everything possible. Don’t call me a fanboy of TechCrunch or that someone has funded this post, I do so because it is a massive lesson from which other blogs and bloggers should learn.

I wasn’t even interested to think of Tumblr worth mentioning for personal reasons but the growth of the service has been phenomenal. It’s monthly page views have soared to a staggering 1.5 Billion a month, putting it in the list of top 50 sites in the United States.

The user base itself is seeing a massive boost as it continues to have over 25,000 new registrations a day along with the addition of over 300 million pageviews. It is obvious that if it continues this rate of growth in coming months it will easily surpass the 2 billion pageviews mark in the next couple months.

Not just me, I guess the issue is same with many, especially those on various platforms which are getting annoyingly difficult to manage. Perhaps they have become too outdated or are greedy to fill each of your page with ads. Well Posterous is capitalizing on that by letting you import your content over to its platform.

It’s been well over two years since I started blogging at Startup Meme and the journey has been amazing. Of course there have been highs and lows but overall the experience has been superb, especially given the fact that I have been able get closer to innovation in the Web space. Communicating with startup founders and learning how they were able to develop a real life problem into a web based solution. But at times things get a bit too tiring and then comes a need to have a break.

I bet many would leave a comment complaining about the unavailability of sharing features.

Alright it shouldn’t be Yahoo that should get everything when it comes to coverage on redesign. Apparently the much famed tech blog, Engadget is working on revamping the layout, something they were planning to keep a secret until it leaked out. Te design to be honest looks very pleasing and neat, not that the previous one was ugly or something, but it just appeared way to cluttered and very white and zombie like. This new one is far more pleasing!

LoveLogger is a new blogging platform and s definitely not another lovers point on the web. The platform is based on a unique idea of letting users can form pair and take advantage of its platform to create a blog and share interests. The pair could be your lover, friend, either of your parents, child, etc, in short if you are to create a blog you must have a partner to do so. I sort of like the idea as it lets you talk about and share what happens the two of you. Interesting but there has to be a very high level of understanding between the two (and of course time) before the two can effectively manage such a venture.
