Ever wondered what is the trending on Twitter looking at your iPhone, hoping for an easier way to keep an eye on that? Well stop trying to find and grab iTrends the new iPhone app. What it does? Well simply informs you what is the latest trending topic and why exactly is it trending? Apart from this it also lets you search for topics, save topics for tracking them later. And guess what, the App has been approved when Apple is busy banning many out there.
I am not sure how easily does Apple accept applications on its App Store, but I am dead sure it will reject them for the slightest excuse. The latest to be rejected is TweetPhoto. The reason? Well the logo appears to be in some way a resemblance of Polaroid photograph. Bravo! And the ah so just team members accepted Polarize which even has a very close resemblance to the name Polaroid. I am lost here, Apple blocks one app for the iPhone for one reason but accepts another one which appears to violate their own rule more. Will someone please tell me what exactly is the policy behind all boot and lock game?
The new version of the Facebook iPhone App has been submitted and is waiting for the approval. However there are plenty of pictures available to give a feel of what it is. The app misses the landscape version which shouldn’t really kill the usefulness of the app given that it has a lot to offer with better features. Those features include the ability to edit notes, better liking features and a much improved way to create and albums and upload photographs. Lets see how the app turns out for the countless iPhone and Facebook users out there.
One of America’s largest podcaster and multimedia news organization, NPR has jumped into the iPhone age with the release of its News App for the device. The app is going to be the first of its kind for the iPhone and the iPod Touch, giving users a chance to read, browse or listen to news stories. The app uses zip code or the location based technology to help users locate the closest NPR station, search by station or programs and connect to more than 1 thousand live or on demand streams. The app also lets users customize playlists to help them organize their favorite programs and stories.
