A survey conducted by eROI was taken from 283 high school and college students from 29 states in the U.S. to determine which email is the favorite and what is the preferred means of communication. The results show that Gmail is favored by college students above others.

The other part of the survey also found that text messaging is the most popular method of communication, used more than email to reach each other. Though it was also found that social network’s IM is also a popular means of communicating between students.
