This comes after quite some time, the news of layoffs in numbers as Sun might show the exit to around 3,000 employees. This would take their total layoffs to 9,000, following the six thousand it did last year. This all happens while it is in acquisition talks of Oracle. The layoffs will take place across the globe and chances are there will be more layoffs once the acquisition actually completes.
