Subbmitt is a social news/blogging site which allows user to post links to articles, photos, videos, etc. in order to share it with others or post their own content. According to them the article always makes it to the front page.
Posting an article here doesn’t require any sign-up which is unusual. All the articles are published as it is (without any modification). The process is simple, you paste a link or write your stuff and submit it in the Submit section from where it is queued for a review. Then it is either approved or rejected.
If you have a breaking news, you can post it in the specified section. Posts which are rejected are usually spam (according to them articles or links offering products for sale is considered as spam). Although signup is not necessary but it gives you some enhanced options like posting under your name, etc. You can also comment without signing up. There are various categories for news ranging from International to Technology to Fashion to Sports. You can also vote an article up and down.
The website also claimed that they update it every two minutes (so that people won’t find it boring) which is not correct because I refreshed the International News for about 45 minutes but the top story didn’t change. The last story was 1 week, four days old. That gave me an idea about what is wrong over here. There can be two possibilities, either they are not having much traffic on their site or they are unable to manage it properly. This idea doesn’t seem fascinating but if they do manage it properly they can certainly do it better than they are doing it right now.
