Steve Jobs is not history as yet!

image thumb12 Steve Jobs is not history as yet!Apple’s stock  appeared to be crashing after rumors about Steve Job having a heart were published on CNN’s citizen journalism site namely iReport. The situation was taken in control as sources at Apple called upon Silicon Alley Insider and termed the reports to be false. However the time that lapsed was enough to dent Apple’s stock for the start given that Job’s health has been a major concern over quite a long time.

Perhaps it was an act to jeopardize Apple’s stock shares and such random rumors have been a part of web world and tech companies for more than a decade. Anonymous post makers across the web have been crowned the name of citizen journalists and such rumors springing up out of nowhere are quite common.

But that isn’t the sole reason, as mentioned above, Apple like keeping its new product a secret till the last moment have for odd reasons been secretive about Steve’s health. Given how delicate the case is with companies, such rumors need to be kept in check, especially when there are clouds over certain matters; like Steve’s health is already a mystery.  What appears to me after this is the obvious; anonymous writers might very well have a dead end after this, or at least a block for sites that are associated with credible names.

Below is the report that had the rumor about Steve’s heart attack; though this has been removed form the site (with thanks to Silicon Alley Insider):

Steve Jobs was rushed to the ER just a few hours ago after suffering a major heart attack. I have an insider who tells me that paramedics were called after Steve claimed to be suffering from severe chest pains and shortness of breath. My source has opted to remain anonymous, but he is quite reliable. I haven’t seen anything about this anywhere else yet, and as of right now, I have no further information, so I thought this would be a good place to start. If anyone else has more information, please share it.
