‘It’s never too late to mend’ as wise men say, but for Yahoo and specially for Jerry Yang, the saying stands completely false. Yesterday we reported Yang was very close to begging Microsoft to buy it out after literally thrashing the software giant on every possible occasion. But it appears Ballmer is in no mood to turn back and has firmly put down Yang’s request. Looks like he is sticking to what he had said a couple of months back and will not budge. I personally think Microsoft will eventually buy Yahoo, but not until it has made Yahoo beg to death.
