Booyah, the internet and mobile content provider, has made an announcement according to which the startup has raised an amount of $4.5 million in a round of funding. The Silicon Valley, California based startup has raised the amount from Kleiner Perkins who is the only backer right now. The startup is currently in the stealth mode.
The founders of the company are Sam Christiansen, Keith Lee and Brian Morrisoe. They all have worked earlier with Blizzard Entertainment which is not only the home of one of the most hit games of all times i.e. Warcraft games, but also Actvision and Insomniac Games.
The founders are very positive about their new venture and with their past experience at Blizzard, one can certainly hope something interesting. Their website reads:
