Spotify is an online music service that contains a huge music library which can be accessed by the users with the help of an application. Though the music is streamed, it is played instantly and is partly supported by the famous P2P technology. Currently the service is only available in Finland, France, Norway, Spain, Sweden and UK. Check out the video above to see how the service functions.
According to Spotify’s Andres Sehr:
Spotify is a new way of enjoying music. We believe Spotify provides a viable alternative to music piracy. We think the way forward is to create a service better than piracy, thereby converting users into a legal, sustainable alternative which also enriches the total music experience.
