Spot Runner - the latest to make layoffs?

Saad Ali Abbasi

spotrunner_logo TV advertising startup Spot Runner is the latest to make news for making cuts in its costs. It is expected that the company will lay off as many as 25 percent of it’s more than 300 employees, despite having raised more than $111 million in funding. This would add to the 50 employees laid off in August last year, and another 50 leaving by their own will. So lets see what the company can achieve, as it lets go another 50 to 75 employees this time around. As one former employee (engineer) states that morale is low and a sense of disillusionment permeates the company, at least among the engineers.

  1. Spacey Says:

Spot Runner was just caught by Wikipedia removing history from their wiki entry. One report said that Spot Runner is also asking bloggers and newspapers not to publish negative articles about them. This is terrible and embarrassing for a company that once upon a time had over 100 million dollars. Just pitiful! Immoral and unethical seems to be the way of American venture capital funded business!
