Sporevote is a site made exclusively to celebrate the launching of Maxis Spore Creature, the massive web 2ish game. We have wrote a detailed review on Spore, you can check it here.
To ignite some excitement and fun on the release of Spore, (a great species creator) team at Spore asked 75 most ingenious and innovative creators to make their self created species. Other Users can also be a part of it by rating or downloading their favourite creature.
Creator of the best creature will be gifted with a prize of $15,000. Selection for the best will be based on voting by other users. Users can only vote once in a whole day and the Voting Period, according to the site has already been started from June 11, 2008 and it will end on July 18, 2008. The criterion for selecting the best creature is based on:

Sporevote is not only meant of viewing and voting different creatures but it actually allows you to have a clear and creative idea of how to design your own creature. It can also be considered as a good marketing tool for Spore – the single player online game whose unique, innovative features and designer makes it worthy to use.
