In October, Sony (SNE) changed the "Terms of Use" for the PS3 to allow the company to eavesdrop on and censor its users, which eventually was appreciated by many people and the press as well. The reason this move was made was to make Virtual worlds much more productive in terms of user collaboration rather than just sexual material.
But it has been only been 3 days since Sony’s virtual world was launched and already on its home page, we find a video based on sex.
Coming towards market stats, PS3 is already doing very poor in terms of sales and now with this material, users especially those being female could be offended.
What do you think, should Sony Police its Virtual World more stringently? Comment…
P.S. I have just pasted an image from the video, but due to our own terms and conditions the video was not posted.
