There have been certain rumors spinning around related to PSP, the portable gaming unit of Sony. A British gaming blog last week reported that there isn’t any work going on regarding the next version of PSP, but now Eurogamer has reported from unnamed sources that the game publishers are already designing games for the PSP2. Sony declined to comment on the speculation.

Sony would have to bring in something extraordinary if PSP2 is really coming because right now PSP is finding it hard to compete specially when Nintendo DS and Apple’s iPhone and iPod are around.
