Sony Pictures suffers from the recession as the studio waved goodbye to 300 of its employees. The reason being the low sales and it appears that the studio’s efforts to reduce costs by cutting short travel and entertainment expenses proved futile. This follows layoffs from Warner Brothers earlier, but Sony has its own problems flooding in from studios to even the much anticipated PS3 that fails to make profits for the corporation.
