playstation3 thumb Sony launches the virtual community for PlayStation 3

Sony Corp. has finally launched the much awaited virtual community for PlayStation 3 game console owners. According to the company officials, the move is unlikely to bring new users to the machine. The new service is available in eight languages and will be start working in Japan, Europe, U.S. along with other places where PlayStation 3 is available. According to the company the new games will contain update of the service which will license partners and events including the New Year countdown ceremony.

According to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan vice president, Junji Shoda:

This is a community for gamers. It’s meant to enrich the interactive experience for gamers.
