With both time and space meaning a lot in the modern age, the busy population of the US has put the accelerator at migrating to the smart phones. The current reports put the number at just a hair width short of 19% , with the number likely to hit 50% in the next two years.

I guess the the trend has grown given the fact that smartphones keep getting loaded with more features while the cost keeps cutting down. So it’s not just about providing mobility in communication but bringing the entire web world into the pockets.  I think the estimated number might very well exceed 50% given the curent growth.
