SmallWorlds is a virtual world that runs inside the browser. It is a combination of media, web content, games, all integrated into the 3D environment; giving virtual world a life.

A New Zealand based company that launched its web based virtual world on 21st May, 2008, provides multiple options to its users.

You can create and customise avatars, rooms, play games, watch YouTube videos, listen to your favourite music and make your own mark/logo.

Developed on Adobe Flex and Flash, all it requires is a Flash Player which is usually installed.

Target audience, as described by them, is anyone aged 13 and above.
SmallWorlds Options
The website is likely to succeed as it provides instant accessibility, wide screen, multiple camera angles and no additional downloads are required (according to an estimate, products which require downloads are losing more than 80% of their potential users). High definition pixels have also increased the visibility of the website.

Overall the website gives a delicate look, all we have to see now is how they embed more creative stuff in the future.
