Sling Media has finally made the announcement regarding the release of SlingPlayer Mobile for the iPhone 3G. Though the player is not yet ready but it is on its way. Just like for any other platform, the iPhone version allows users to access one or more Slingboxes from their mobile device. Also they can watch different TV stations while on the go.

DVR from an iPhone can also be managed.  According to Sling Media, the app will be submitted to the iTunes AppStore by the end of first fiscal quarter. The price of the SlingPlayer Mobile is not yet confirmed but it can be around $29.99 lifetime fee.
