Skype 2.8 for Mac which was announced yesterday, has been launched today.The new version contains a number of cool new features such as real time screen sharing, Wi-Fi hot spot connector, etc. The screen sharing capability will let users share their screen while making a Skype call which means that you don’t have to set up any LiveMeeting or WebEx. The cost of the application is only $0.19. Some of the features of the new version are as follows:

• Improved chat management
• Quick Add (add people to chat)
• Mood message chat (to keep up with your friends update)
• Large profile pictures
• Hidden avatars in incoming contact requests
• Add notes to contacts
