Ever felt like throwing off your cell phone while it loses signals during an important conversation? Adding to that, your provider’s signals turn out to be dead in those areas where it shouldn’t be. But this is technology, hey we created it eventually!!!

But my fellow readers, Worry not, now you can find out where your cell could pick up strong signals via Signal Map, a user based cellular signal coverage map. Using Google Maps mashup, the service notifies you of thousands of users, with multiple providers and their access points etc.

Signal Map is currently in beta as it lacks some features you may want to see with future releases .But the fact remains that it could prove out to be a worthwhile technology for business users especially who are very mobile.
