Shorten your links with Linkasa

linkasa is an easier and sweeter way to shorten your URL, making it easier to share and exchange long URLs.

The service uses base 62 compression algorithm that makes thousands of alternatives for just two letters.

Linkasa  provides a temporary preview so that you can review the link before sending or inserting it. The service also allows you to tag the URLs making it easier to memorize and use, this is something that tinyurl and snurl don’t provide at the moment. Bookmarking the service will add it to your web browser and the URL of any page that you visit could than be shortened by just clicking on Linkasa.

Following snapshot depicts, how a link can be customized into a precise and meaningful way. Consider this link:

Linkasa Snap

linkasa has not only shorten its length but it has also provided a meaningful name to it.

I see it to be a better service than tinyurl and snurl, and foresee support in twitter apps for it very soon.
