ShareThis, a widget provider that lets users share blog or a news article across multiple social media sites such as Digg, Delicious, MySpace etc is going to acquire madKast. madKast is also a widget maker that allows users to share blog/news through SMS messages and email along with other web services. Further details about the acquisition hasn’t been disclosed yet by any party.
ShareThis is expanding its service strategically and this acquisition depicts that the company is looking forward to blend madKast superb technology into its product along with its dedicated team to make best widgets and to introduce new routes to share articles. The company has raised $21 million funding till now.
Another techstars company being “acquired” and nobody knows for how much… Humm, I wonder why?
