Go ahead, share your Smirk

Saad Ali Abbasi

smirk_logoVideo services are on a high this year, everyone’s out to grab a bite of the hot stuff. If you’re a fan of SmugMug you’ll definately get a kick out of Smirk. Smirk is a video service with lots of fun attached to it. You can join in and create video emoticons directly your webcam. For up to 3 seconds, you can record a range of moods through your cam. If you need to fix your smirk, you can always re-record. The next step of sharing your moods is also pretty easy, as you can send it to your friends through a url, GIF avatar, or an embed code.

If you want you can even check out other Smirk users, by going to the Smirk homepage & clicking on a video. Additional features are expected soon, such as special effects for videos. There are a few things users could do without though, like when you record a video, and feel like deleting it, you simply cannot. You just get the option of re-recording. Where Smirk is a social tool, a little bit of socializing options here & there wouldn’t hurt; like allowing users to swap videos. With that said, signing-up is quick, and your profile consists only of your video moods. Doesn’t hurt to let out a smirk once in a while, so give it a try.
