MashSpots the local search engine that helped users find the favorite spot in a locality has launched their application for the iPhone: Shake2Find. The app simply lets users spot their favorite place in an area by simply shaking their device, eliminating the need to type anything. You can simply enter up to ten places that are of your interest and the app displays you the four closest locations, much like it does on the Web site. Of course you can manually enter a location or search for an item. But I love this idea of minimizing the need to type and use the gestures to find a place. You can get the application here.
