Sezmi, a Silicon Valley based startup that wants to reinvent television for the Internet, has laid off 20% of their staff which amounts to 20 employees, according to NY Times. Sezmi is building a comprehensive television service that can be delivered to mid-tier telephone companies to allow them to offer customers a television option. The company has already built a set-top box that has an integrated DVR and an interface that combines Internet channels with television programming.
