Lately Twitter third party services have been on the rise, allowing Twitter-users to upgrade on their tweets. Like this new service: BigTweet which works like a bookmarking site and lets you share your favorites (Web pages) on Twitter, as well as offer a 280 character writing space for your tweets.

BigTweet allows you to send a Tweet of 280 characters, breaking it up as two 140 char-tweets. You can send a URL which is shortened up by BigTweet using bit.ly (URL shortening service), and you can also add a description to the URL you’re sharing (up till 280 characters). There’s even a special character feature that also includes smiley face emoticons, and other symbols that you can use.
