| Searchme | Maximize stack view |
Searchme is one of the best visual search engines we’ve used here at Startup Meme. They’ve been really going strongly with the highly ‘optimized for productivity’ interface built on top of their search engine. We specially love the Video and Images search, as it’s hands down the best and fastest way to visualize the results of your search queries. And who doesn’t love CoverFlow??
Searchme have introduced stacks, which are collections of your search results. You can add any result of any search query, and even videos and images, and add them to your stacks. These stacks can then be shared through email, embedding or a link, or just simply saved for future use. Think of these stacks as virtual folders. We’ve made one for Startup Meme above and embedded it for demonstration. We are really impressed with the simple and very cool drag and drop action required to add results to your stacks. And the sharing feature really makes it outstanding, as you can just share custom results easily. It’s a great tool for research. Give Searchme a try, if you haven’t already. If anyone can give competition to Google Search, it has to be Searchme!
