Once upon a time I wrote about a nifty application called VisualSage which helped you navigate Facebook differently.And today I found out about a very brilliant application called ScrapBoy, which not only helped me browse FB, but connect to my other social networks such as Orkut and Myspace, and do stuff all via a nice structured desktop application.
With Scrapboy you no more will login individually instead it has a common interface to handle multiple sites. A chat box is provided along with that you can see your wall posts, check your inbox, view your pokes, events and check out your groups.
I think bringing social networking into an IM like environment, is something new and unique. Scrapboy is a 7.6 MB download compatible with versions of Windows.
Phew these days I wish that the desktop days could be back, everything is so much on the browser, at least a little bit change for a while is good.
